Layering well in winter can be tricky at the best of times… it was one of my main struggles when adapting to the European climate… that’s why I’ve decided to create this new post series on learning how to layer. If you haven’t already, check out the first part of the series here.
Dressing for a night out in London in winter has been particularly difficult to figure out. I still want to wear a dress, however I don’t want to freeze whilst doing it!
Tip 2 on learning how to layer is…
Wear a sweater over a dress
Wearing a sweater over dress solves all your going out problems! Plus, if it’s particularly warm inside the venue, you can always take the sweater off! Cinch the sweater at the waist with a belt to give some shape to the outfit. Also add tights for extra cold nights.
