One brand that I feel wholly epitomizes this blog is UNIQLO. A Japanese founded label that has swept the world by storm these past few years, UNIQLO embodies the philosophy of quality produced basic clothing items and using these to build your style wardrobe.

So when I found out that Carine Roitfeld, former Vogue Paris editor, was doing a collaboration with UNIQLO, I knew I was going to fall in love with the pieces on site. The moto for the collection is:

“Confidence is beauty. Keep it simple, make it chic, liberate your beauty, fashion your future, inspire your life. The new collection in collaboration with the leading global fashion icon Carine Roitfeld. From UNIQLO to every woman, the collection lets the wearer discover a modern sense of style”.

Although the collection only came out on October 29th, most of the pieces have already sold out online. Luckily, I managed to grab a few items at the Regent Street store on opening day. I am in love with my wool sweater, which is amazingly soft to touch, and I’ve chosen to layer it over a shirt. The coat I wasn’t sure about at first, so I left the store and had a think about it (which was a bold choice as every other item was disappearing very, VERY quickly). After 10 min, I realized that I wanted it BADLY so I went back for it 🙂 I love the structure it brings to my outfit.
