The 5 Best Shopping Areas In Berlin

I went back to Berlin last weekend and it felt amazing. For those of you new to the blog, I lived in Berlin for part of 2015 before making the move to London. I didn’t realise how much I missed it until I went back. My Saturday was basically me spending up a storm! So it seemed natural to blog about the best shopping spots in the city!

Here are the 5 best shopping areas in Berlin

1. Alexa Shopping Mall

Situated in Alexaderplatz, it’s hard to miss the pink exterior of this shopping mall! I love this mall particularly, as it has the only Vagabond store in the city. I love Vagabond boots, I can’t recommend them enough! It also has all the favorites such as Zara and The Body Shop.

Grunerstraße 20, 10179 Berlin, Germany
Monday-Saturday
10am-9pm

2. Mauer Park Flea Market

I spent my whole Sunday morning exploring this amazing flea market! When I lived in Berlin, I was here at least every second weekend. There is always a bargain to be had. You can find new and old products here ranging from clothes, furniture, electronics and a great selection of records and books. You can’t leave without purchasing something! Not to mention all the food trucks to sustain all the hours of browsing!

Bernauer Str. 63-64, 13355 Berlin, Germany
Every Sunday
9am-6pm.

3. Prenzlauer Berg

I find Prenzlauer Berg to be one of the prettier suburbs of Berlin, and I love exploring a few streets in particular for their cute boutiques. Get off at the tube stop Senefeldplatz on the U2 (red) line and walk up Kollwitzstraße. Here you will find heaps of cute boutiques including my personal favourite Lieblings Platz. From here, I usually just wander around the surrounding streets and get a little ‘lost’. I always end up buying something cute from one of the stores. Finish up at No Fire No Glory for a coffee and slice of cake!

4. Mall of Berlin

Situated in the historical area of Potsdamer Platz, this mall is the perfect way to spend a lazy shopping day indoors. It includes all the favourites such as Zara and H&M and also has an amazing food court on the top floor! For more information on their stores, click through to their website.

Leipziger Pl. 12, 10117 Berlin, Germany

5. Kurfürstendamm

If you only have time to spend just a few hours shopping then I recommend you spend it on Kurfürstendamm Avenue! Kurfurstendamm Avenue is the holy grail of shopping streets… Situated in the beautiful area of Charlottenburg, this beautiful street is lined with every store imaginable… that’s not a joke! Don’t believe me? Head to their main website to see a list of shops.

What’s your favourite shopping spot in Berlin? Is it included in our list of the 5 best shopping areas in Berlin?
