Breakfast Delight: Mrs S

I had the pleasure of having breakfast at Mrs S in Maylands recently and it was just that, an absolute pleasure! This little cafe is so quaint, you feel so special being inside it amongst all the pretty cakes and decorations! However amongst all the prettiness I broke my rule about trying a new dish every time i went out for breakfast…. I ordered my scrambled eggs on toast.

Please don’t hate me! I was absolutely craving it! It didn’t disappoint and was absolutely delicious. I went to breakfast with a few friends and in general the portions were absolutely huge! One friend had the ham and gruyere toastie (pictured above) and I was starring at it the whole time, it looked amazing. The bread was so thick and the cheese perfectly melted…. I had definite food envy and will be ordering it next time I’m back. Although I didn’t have any of the cakes, the display looked fabulous. The coffee was delicious as well. My latte milk was frothed perfectly.
