Why Dressing In Black And White Isn’t So Black-And-White
Black and white wardrobe items are staples, and both colours look good on practically everyone…however it can be hard paring the two colours together without resembling some sort of cater waiter. So how to wear both colours and achieve a chic looking ensemble?
Here are some tips for dressing in black and white
Play around with shapes, fabrics and lengths. One way to do this is to have a more floaty top paired with slim lined bottoms. Also try wearing a linen top with silk trousers. Having a longer top over leggings works well as well.
Make sure you pieces have some interesting details to them. Having frilly sleeves or a billowing back on a white blouse will do the trick. Bottoms should have some sort of detail as well, such as a zip or rips.
Wear interesting jewellery to break up the black and white. This is a good time to experiment with different styles of jewellery, but in either standard yellow gold or silver (depending on what your colour is) so you can keep the ‘classic’ look going.
