Something I’m finding more and more as I delve into the world of minimalist style is it’s about that one subtle detail. An outfit needs to have just one small detail to make it minimalist in nature.

This ruffle pencil skirt could be matched with something else to make an outfit that is a bit more ‘loud’ in nature, but with a simple white crop top and black stilettos, the detail at the front stands out and creates a minimalist feel.

With summer now coming to an end, I’ll be sadly putting my crop tops and most of my skirts away until the end of the year. However, I can’t help but admit that I am looking forward to some slightly cooler weather; as long as I can still have some sun every now and then!
