How To Spend A Day In Cascais

Visiting the beautiful little seaside town of Cascais for the day was one of the best spent afternoons in the whole two weeks I spent in Portugal! Around a 20 min drive away from Sintra, we stopped here on our way back up the coast to Porto. Filled with the cutest streets imaginable, beautiful beaches and delicious seafood, it’s the perfect place to go for a day trip from either Lisbon or Sintra.

Here are some tips on how to spend a day in Cascais

1. Spend some time lounging at the beach

2. Walk around and get lost in all the tiny streets

3. Have lunch at Moules & Gin for some amazing mussels!

4. Take a stroll with a scoop of gelato in hand

5. Visit Cascais Fort
